With leading technical expertise our teams evaluate all types of wastewater activated sludge aeration processes including diffused air fine and course bubble blown air systems, media based surface area blown air systems, jet aeration and mechanical surface agitation applications. We can advise on relative benefits /disadvantages for existing and new design systems with scenario operational cost assessments and maintenance considerations. Our team provide, through on site measurement and design analysis, best practice advice on air supply system plant control sequencing and control guide vane/valve setting optimisation as well as local temperature environmental controls and set points.
In addition to energy carbon reduction and cost savings significant process performance improvements can and have been realised on large and small sites from 10,000 to 1,000,000 population equivalent (p.e.). Specifically key quality areas have been ammonia reduction, odour suppression and reduced sludge volumes leading to reduction in biosolids treatment/disposal costs.
