Carbon Management
The Carbon Management industry was effectively born of the Kyoto conferences in 1997 and 2007. The scheme in essence looks at your baseline emissions and apportions a number of 'carbon credits' to you. If you continue to hold the credits you can continue to discharge Carbon Dioxide. If you however choose to sell those credits, you must reduce your emissions.
The UK vehicle of carbon reduction is the Carbon Trust to which Air Technology hold CMEE accreditiation as well as individual accreditation for most of our staff.
Air Technology are part of the ManagingCarbon consortium a multidisciplinary group with the aim to reduce the energy spend in industry.
