Energy saving work and optimising systems for the duty have often also lead to process improvements. We have many interesting cases where modest beginnings have lead to excellent results, such as a water company who have accredited us with over £840,000 energy savings during last year with much improved control of the treated effluent. This work was aimed at improving aeration and led too much more including better understanding of the process and improved compliance
