At Air Technology we have an excellent team of engineers with many years of practical experience of managing capital projects in industrial environments. We can offer a turnkey solution managing the project from inception to completion.

Our typical role is as an expert consultant designing systems, writing specifications, reviewing tenders and recommending equipment based on sound analysis. We have also project managed large installations for major blue chip internationals overseeing the project from inception to delivery.

Large International Automotive Manufacturer - NW, UK

This client was experiencing severe problems with the air quality in their paint cells. This was causing major production issues resulting in lost time and inefficient use of labour. Air Technology measured the air quality, identified pollutants within the air stream and designed a system to eradicate them entailing an entirely new compressor station utilising efficient centrifugal machines and heated desiccant dryers. After the installation was complete, the system was commissioned and final tests indicated a dramatic improvement in air quality at the spray cells, hugely improving process integrity and product quality, along with providing a more efficient generating system.

Multinational Cement Producer, Scotland

After an initial study funded by the Carbon Trust, this client recognised the value of our work and commissioned a further study aimed at optimising the compressed air system. This was undertaken and a 500m 8"NB linking main was installed across the middle of the site, linking the previously discrete compressor houses. Modern lossless heated desiccant dryers were installed and the energy savings were immediately evident as compressors ran idle. Air quality at the site was much improved and the new system provided greater flexibility in supply, all this whilst saving around £100k annually over the previous situation.
